Dashbashi Canyon Natural Monument is carved by Ktsia (Khrami) River in the stream bed cut through the volcanogenic rocks of Dashbash volcanic plateau, distinguished by its rarity and biodiversity. It located 1100-1500m above the sea level.

Nice and chilly place in summer  but  to get this place be ready for a steep trekking !The vegetation cover of the surrounding ecosystem is rather poor, whereas the plants on the steep slopes of the canyon and astounding waterfalls create absolutely different micro-landscape, with characteristic micro-climate, specific fauna etc.

The length of the canyon is 8 kilometers, with moderately humid climate and the annual temperature range is quite high. In January, the average temperature here is -4 -6 and in June – +16

The canyon in located in a small villaged Dashbashi only 2km away from a small town of Tsalka.

Manglisi Cathedaral ( Manglisi Sioni Cathedral) firstly was built in 4^th C.  These days presented church  was built in 11th c. The church was erected on an important trade route which connected eastern countries with the Byzantium. In thirties of the 4th century, a church already stood here, and in the first half of the 11th century it was replaced by the present church – a tetra conch in plan. The wall paintings preserved in the church are of the 11th century.

For a long time, one of the Christian shrines was kept here – a nail from the cross on which Jesus Christ was crucified.

This nail was presented to the Georgian Christians by the Roman emperor Constantine I.

Paravani Lake is the biggest lake in Georgia . Paravani has altitude 2073 m. The area of ​​the lake is just over 37 square kilometers and a maximum depth – up to 4 m.
The lake is surrounded by incredibly beautiful alpine meadows – the real pride of this region. The lake looks  mysterious and still  keeps its secrets. At the bottom of the reservoir divers found an extraordinary structure with a total area of 900 m², which is very interested for archaeologists. After a long teamwork, scientists agreed that at the bottom of the lake was found the tumulus belonged to the Bronze Age.  At the same time were discovered and brought to the surface a multitude of kitchen and household items, dishes, vessels of various shapes and sizes, and much more dated back to the 4^th C.

Later on during the excavations the scientists found the corridor which led to the very center of the mound. With the help of excavations there were found a large number of various household items, among which are ceramic painted ware. For many centuries, carried out under water, the dishes practically did not deteriorate, which indicates its skillful manufacture.

Still the scientist have many questions : as a settlement was under water? Most likely, as a result of a disaster. Paravani just flooded and the city with them.
