Tbilisi City Tour
Tbilisi’s Walking tour is a great way to explore the city centre on foot, and find out more about how Tbilisi became the city it is today.
City tour includes walking all round the old city quarter of Tbilisi. Tbilisi is one of the most interesting Georgian cities . Tbilisi has links with the legends of King Vakhtang Gorgasali (5th C.) who is considered as founder of the city and Abanotubani district (district of sulfur baths ) is claimed to be the place where history of the city starts.
Other attractions of the city include many fine buildings, craft shops and a sculpture . Other attractions in the area include Bridge of Peace (made of glass), which commonly appears on postcards of the city, and the Metekhi temple and bridge (12th). We will take the cable car to get to the Narikala Fortress on the top of the mountain, which was established in 4th C., and long considered a symbol of Tbilisi’s defense and enduring strength. Narikala offers you some of the best panoramas of the city. Then we will take a walk along the Narikala Tourist Route (150m), including a visit to the Mother of Georgia statue, and continue to the Abonatubani district, where you can find the legendary Sulphur baths and Legvtakhevi waterfall directly in the city center!
The tour offers you stunning views at every turn.
During the tour we will visit one of the oldest bakeries of Tbilisi where our guests can taste traditional Georgia bread.
