Tbilisi – Batumi
Arrive in Batumi
Free time / rest on the beach
Excursion around night Batumi (Seaside Park (Boulevard), dancing and singing fountains, Wonderland Park, Alphabet Tower, Love Sculpture “Ali and Nino”, Piazza Square).

Sarpi Beach – Gonio Fortress – Andrew the First Waterfall – Makhuntseti Watrfall and Portal Frame Bridge of Queen Tamar
Gonio. Apsaros Fortress. Ancient archeological layers of the fortress dated back to 15 – 17c. BC. Legend tells that the name Apsaros derives from an acient Greek myth about Argonauts. According to the legend exactly on this place was buried Aet’s son Apsirt killed by Jason. Also, here is buries one of the Christ’s Apostol Matata. In 1974, at a fortress location nearby was found a treasury which contained marvelous jewelry. Since 1994, here has been carrying out systematical excavations . Gonio Fortress (Apsaros) is recognized as a museum resort.
Andrew the First Called Waterfall is devoted to saint Apostol come in Georgia. According to the story he ordained the first priests and build the first temple in the country. The statue near the waterfall looks impressive and in match with maritime presents lots of positive emotions. On hot summer days here reigns invigorating coolness.
Makhuntseti Waterfall and Portal Frame Bridge of Queen Tamar (11 – 13cc.). The unique bridge was erected above the Adjaristskali River where locals swim with a great pleasure. The bridge has about 900 years and still it is a mystery how it could stand for such a long period of time and withstand earthquakes. The wreckage of the laying nearby rocks were used as a building material but were fixed in with whitewash. 30 – meters Makhuntseti Waterfall is considered as the highest one in Adjara region. In place of water falling was formed a natural bowl where everyone can swim.
Day 3
Free time – Batumi Botanical Garden
Optional: Watch wonderfull Batumi form above by cable car . There opens a picturesque view of the coast which you can enjoy taking memorable photos!
In the Batumi Botanical Garden you can not only admire the unique plants but also have a rest. Collection of the plants is about 5, 000 kinds species, varieties and forms , 2,000 of which are arboreal and artisan forms. Only 104 of its can be find in the Caucasus. The botanical garden consists of nine floristic departments: the humid subtropics of Transcaucasia, New Zealand, Australian, Himalayan, East Asian, North American, South American, Mexican and Mediterranean. And it all goes well together and get along with each other. This is a real “Garden of Eden” and a paradise for lovers of the flora. The length of the park is about 2.5 km. For the architectural basis were taken the legendary gardens of the Semiramis. Among all this beauty here are even own plantations of tea and citrus, which are spread over 6.5 hectares.
