Mtskheta – Kazbegi

• Mtskheta is an ancient capital of Georgia and religious heart for every Georgian. Not officially called “The Second Jerusalem”. It attracts pilgrims and lovers of ancient architecture from all around the world. During the tour we will  visit Jvari  Monastery (6^th  ) which stands on the top of the mountain with a picturesque view to the biggest Georgian rivers Kura and Aragvi.
• Svetitskhoveli temple (11^th century) where is buried the Tunic of Christ, piece of the cross on which Christ was crucified, also there saves the relics of Andrew the First Called,  graves of famous Georgian Rulers and lots other interesting shrines.
• Ananuri Fortress (16^th  – 17^th  cent.). There is a temple of Dormision of Mary the Virgin and  ancient tower of 13^th cent. The place intrigues by legends and history.
• Zhinvali reservoir, azure color of the water which still have not leaved anyone indifferent. This place presents you unforgettable feelings and photos.
• We will pass by famous Georgian ski resort Gudauri and observation deck from the rock cliff ( more than 2000v above the sea). Great chance to taste natural sparkly waterwhich flows directly from the mountain.
• Small village  Stepantsminda in the northeast of  Georgia where locates Kazbegi mountain  (5033,8 м). Here  we will take an off-road car  to get to the Gergeti  mountain(2200m above the sea) where locates Holy Trinity Church (14^th C)f. This is amazing place for adventures, travellers  and for ordinary people who wants to relax  from the city life.
• Return to Tbilisi.
